Well here we are...the start of Tet week...I am really looking forward to this week as I have heard heaps about it...I will be spending a lot of time with Le's family and also visiting Hang and Tam's parents...

Tet week is over and I have really had a great time...lots of visiting, eating too much drinking and general merriment...but a great experience, not to be missed...but after giving money to everyone that is possible, Le's Mum and Dad, the children, the hotel manager etc etc...I am am desperate for the bank to open, so I can replenish my funds...I will be formally asking Le's parents for their permission to marry her tomorrow so I need to get some money to buy them a present...Ha Noi (Viet Nam) closes for about 1 week during Tet, so next time I will be beeter prepared...

I am waiting for my new cellphone (Sony Ericsson P900) to arrive from NZ...it is held up because of Tet...like everything else they are closed...I had to buy it in NZ because they are not available in Viet Nam...and Joan got it for a great price for me...about 3 million Ðong cheaper than I was quoted over here...

Well I am going for a walk now for some exercise...Le has been called into work today, they are closed but she has to prepare some contracts...so that is it for this week, next week is back to normal...and I will have lots more photos later...
